Decentralized crypto casinos by chain: Arbitrum, Base, Optimism, Polygon, Solana and more

Chains and wallets · 11 chains

The chain decides your wallet, your gas coin and which platforms you can reach without bridging. Here are the eleven chains where we found live platforms on 18 September 2026, what runs on each and what to keep in your wallet there.

If you already hold funds on a chain, the shortest path to a decentralized crypto casino is a platform on that chain. Every bridge or swap adds a fee, a wait and a chance to get something wrong. So start from where your money is. This page goes chain by chain, with the platforms we found on each and the gas coin you need there.

Ethereum layer 2s: Arbitrum, Base, Optimism

These three carry most of the activity. All use ETH for gas and work with any EVM wallet.

Arbitrum. Overtime, Dexsport and the WINR Protocol, whose casino app is JustBet. A Dice bet here in March 2026 used 318,668 gas and paid 0.0000064 ETH.

Base. Overtime, Azuro (so Bookmaker.xyz) and Dexsport. The Dice bet we read on Base paid 0.0000024 ETH.

Optimism. Overtime and Dexsport.

If you want sports and casino games from one wallet, Overtime is on all three; you can stay on whichever you already use. Its collateral is USDC, WETH or OVER.

A single Dice bet on Arbitrum One, 20 March 2026: 318,668 gas, a fee of 0.0000064 ETH. The fee is paid in ETH whatever you bet with.

Polygon

Azuro runs on Polygon, so Bookmaker.xyz does too, and Dexsport supports it. Gas is paid in POL; the Polygon Dice bet we read paid 0.0094 POL. On Azuro's Polygon deployment the bet token is USDT, which makes Polygon a natural home if you already hold USDT there.

The same bet on Polygon: 314,482 gas and a fee of 0.0094 POL, paid in the chain's own coin.

Gnosis and Chiliz

Both are Azuro chains. Chiliz also appears on Dexsport's list of 23 networks. These are the chains where people most often arrive without the gas coin: each has its own, so check before you bridge in.

Solana

Gamba is the Solana casino protocol: players bet from a Solana wallet against pools, and anyone can open a pool for any SPL token. Sites built on Gamba decide which pools they show. Dexsport also supports Solana. Gas is paid in SOL and is very small per transaction. You need a Solana wallet; an EVM wallet won't connect.

On Gamba anyone can open a pool for an SPL token, so which coins you can bet depends on the pools and the front-end you use.

BNB Chain, TON and Tron

Among the platforms we checked, Dexsport is the one that covers these, along with Ethereum, Avalanche, opBNB, Linea, Bitcoin, Litecoin, XRP, Dogecoin and more, 23 networks in all. Its DESU token lives on BNB Chain. Two cautions: TON and Tron use their own wallet types, and signing up to Dexsport by email or Telegram gives you an internal wallet held by Dexsport rather than your own. If you want custody, connect your wallet instead.

SX Rollup

SX Bet's own chain, ID 4162. SX is the gas token, USDC the betting currency. You log in with MetaMask, Rabby or a Magic email wallet. Native USDC deposits are free; other tokens cost 0.33%. Nothing else on this list runs here, so bridging in is only worth it if you want a betting exchange.

The chains that are gone or quiet

BetSwirl ran on Arbitrum, Avalanche, Polygon, BNB Chain and Base. It has wound down; its contracts are still there but the site isn't. ZKasino promoted its own chain and asked users to bridge ETH to it; in 2024 that ETH was converted into its token. We don't list either as a place to play.

Once you know the chain, the wallet follows; wallets that work covers that. What each bet costs on these chains is on gas per bet, and how the platforms compare overall is on the decentralized crypto casino ranking.

Questions and answers

Which chain has the most decentralized crypto casinos?
Arbitrum and Base. Overtime runs on both, Azuro runs on Base, the WINR Protocol runs on Arbitrum and Dexsport supports both. Optimism has Overtime and Dexsport.
Is there a decentralized casino on Ethereum mainnet?
Not among the live platforms we checked. Gas on mainnet makes small bets uneconomic, so platforms run on layer 2s, sidechains, Solana or their own rollups.
Are there Solana decentralized casinos?
Yes. Gamba is a casino protocol on Solana with pools anyone can open, and sites are built on top of it. Dexsport also supports Solana.
